  • Talked about how a Galileo Thermometer works.

  • Reviewed STATES of MATTER with the smartboard. What is going on with those particles in each state? How does HEAT affect the particles?
  • What do CONDUCTION, EXPANSION, CONTRACTION, & CONVECTION mean?

  • What are the differences between CONDUCTORS & INSULATORS?
  • What happened in our demonstration?

  • Did more review. If you have questions about yesterday's homework they should have been answered in class. It is YOUR responsiblity to get help if you think you need it.
  • Homework: mp7 pg 70 #1-35 ODD ONLY, mp7 pg 71 #2-12 EVEN ONLY.
  • You had lots of time in class to do these, if you're not done you should be close to being done. Make sure you understand them & SHOW YOUR WORK!
  • What are LCM & GCF? What is the difference between LCM & GCF?
