• Talked about the Acadians - Read v&v pgs 106-109.
• Complete case study on page 108.
• Did some paragraph notes .
• Started writing persuasive paragraphs: Do you agree or disagree with the way the British handled "le grand derangement?".

Today in MATH we:

• Did drill #23.
• Handed in problem of the week #9, got problem of the week #10.
• Problem of the week #10 is due Wednesday December 13. What is an ADDEND?
• Did some more review, mp7 page 70 (even questions) page 71 (odd questions) - this is homework if you didn't finish it in class.
• Unit Test on FRIDAY - Fractions & Integers.
• REVIEW, REVIEW, REVIEW!

Today in SCIENCE we:

• Did some cool demonstrations. Can you explained what happened in the demonstrations?
• Cause & Effect - heat and particle theory of matter.
• Homework: sia7, c&r page 207 #1-3. Take your time and give thoughtful, complete answers.
• What do the words GAP & HYPOTHESIS mean?

REMINDERS:

• Spelling test on Thursday - how do you study your 10 words?
• Math Test FRIDAY.
• Last day to make up missed, incomplete, & assigments with a zero is FRIDAY DECEMBER 8th.
• Bring back your progress reports SIGNED by your parents.
