Today in HUMANITIES we:

• Chose our 10 Spelling words for the week - how are you going to learn them?
• Finished our case study - v&v page 108.
• Worked on the Collaborative Reading process.
• DID collaborative reading v&v pages 110-113.
• Homework: Think it Through, v&v page 113 # 1a, 1b, & 4.

Today in MATH we:

• Started a new unit - Number Operations
• Read & Discussed mp7 page 73 - what is an AU? When would we use one? When would we NOT use one?
• We talked about addition, subtraction, multiplication & division - what do you end up with when you do these operations?
• Homework: mp7 page 74-75 #1-28.

Today in SCIENCE we:

• Reviewed our c&r sia7 page 220 #1-4. Be prepared to reveiw ayl page 221 #2-5 on TUESDAY.
• Talked about how a Galileo Thermometer works.
• Homework: READ sia7 pages 222-228. DO c&r page 228 #1-4.
• Got our "pop quizes" back & reviewed them - how did you do?

REMINDERS:

• Problem of the week #10 is due on Wednesday December 13, 2006.
• We learned lots of new words in science & math.....do you remember what they were? DId you write them down? Do you know how to use them?
• What is GOOD listening? What does it mean to follow instructions?
