Monday & Tuesday March 19 & 20, 2007

In our ACTIVE CITIZENSHIP & ENVIRONEMENT PROJECT we:

  • Worked on the first DRAFT of our project summary & Edited it.
  • Worked on our Capes Project
  • There is a checklist on the whiteboard of the tasks that must be completed this week. You are responsible for making sure they are done.
  • 1) Publishing your summary, 2) Finishing Sketchbook Activities, 3) Collect, Gather & Compile Evidence, 4) Publish Your Journal, 5) Work on your Presentation
  • Your projects, including your presentations are due on TUESDAY March 27, 2007.
  • BRING YOUR CAPES MATERIALS - this is a large & important part of your project!

Today in HUMANITIES we:

  • Had a lesson about the MANITOBA ACT. Who did it not include? Which act did include this group?
  • Read & Make Notes: v&v p. 187-192, Think it Through p 192 #1-2
  • Answer the Question: What was Louis Riel's role in preserving the Metis identity?

Today in MATH we:

  • Worked on Percent
  • Worksheet: Finding Percent of a Number (milk cartons) - Due Wednesday March 21.

Today in SCIENCE we:

  • Handed in our "Fossil CSI" assignments.
  • Worked on Planet Earth Unit Review. SIA7 p 430 #2-8

REMINDERS:

  • You will be handing in your percent worksheet packages on FRIDAY. You have been working on them for the last 2 weeks. Make sure you have finished them ALL.
  • Bring your CAPES MATERIALS!!!!
